Overview

How I got started

My cycling career started at the age of 12 when I saved up enough money to buy a racing bike to go out on rides with a friend who worked in a bike shop. I began to do some road racing and at 15 moved over to racing triathlons.  By 17 I was nationally ranked and a high school All-American, making podiums with people several years older than me at large events around the eastern half of the country.  I picked up a mountain bike to take to college with me and was soon racing that.  A free entry into a DH race got me going with that.

Goals for the Future

I have a couple goals for the year:

1.  "Race" an Ironman in my second attempt at SIlverMan looking for a podium finish

2.  Continue to improve my race performances and placings.

3. Continue to have fun, make friends, and support the people supporting me.
