Why do you like this sport?
i like this sport because it is basically a race against time and once it's time to start, everything else just goes away and it's just me, the bike, and the trail. nothing else exists when i'm "in the zone"
Music?
i like nearly any type of music but before i ride, intensely, the music has to match what im about to begin
What inspires you to compete?
having the chance to show someone up and opportunity to beat them in a race is what truly inspires me and the moment of going fast when it really matters most
Do you train? What does your schedule look like?
yes i do. i mainly work on leg and arm workouts. i am a varsity football player and varsity wrestler so i am constantly burning calories and staying fit. on the off-season i work out everyday except for wednesdays, im in the gym from 3:30-5:30 mainly working on squat, leg lifts, clean, snatch, and bench. i weigh in at 135 lbs. and i bench 195 1rm, squat 235 1rm, and clean 2551rm.
